Internship Role Overview
As an Applications Developer Intern, you will join Oracle’s Optimization Project Management Office (OPMO), supporting development and AI-driven innovation projects across consumer industry platforms. Interns collaborate with project managers and development teams to build and enhance applications using Oracle technologies and modern AI frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in building and enhancing applications using Oracle APEX and modern development tools
• Support analysis, design, testing, and debugging of enterprise applications
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to translate business requirements into solutions
• Participate in agile development cycles and Scrum workflows
• Learn and apply AI and machine learning capabilities in application development
• Document project outcomes and technical findings
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must:
• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• Return to academic program after internship completion
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States (visa sponsorship unavailable)
• Be proficient in SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Preferred Skills & Experience
Exposure to:
• AI or machine learning technologies
• Data structures and algorithms
• Software or web application development
• Cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Python ecosystem tools and AI frameworks
